HAHA keep on putting your X next to any numpty wearing a red rosette then old boy, see how that works out for you. Probably the same as not doing so. Political choice in this Country is akin to choosing between getting kicked in the bolloc*s or punched in the bolloc*s.

.....still no word from @wombwell-red on why he selected only the quotes that made it look like I support Trump and not the ones where I criticised him from the same threads...odd that. Just keeps "liking" single sentence retorts I'd expect my 10-year-old to come up with.

Well you weren't were you. Look at the posts replying to your initial post, only one was having a go at you and calling out your previous posts.

The desperation from the Trump propaganda machine is epitomised by their response to Harris saying Jan 6th was the biggest attack on US democracy since the civil war. They are all crying foul as its the anniversary of 9/11.

Because somehow now 9/11 was an attack on US democracy?

Rules I'd make for any candidate in both UK and us elections.

Make a false statement that can be fact checked as false and you must stand and make a public statement of (for example) "when I said that immigrants in Ohio were eating the cats and dogs and pets of people who live there I was lying and attempting to deceive you the voting public"

They should be forced to have a board next to them at all debates and campaign meetings/rallies which states "these are lies I have told you" and then a list of lies under it.

Make more than 5 false statements and you should be banned from standing for office.

It's ******* ridiculous that people can lie their way into office and there's absolutely no comeback.

Just listen to the clown. He’s claiming he won so he can wriggle out of doing another debate. He’s bonkers.

One of the changes I'd like to see is to highlight media bias.

I'd have anyone appearing on TV acting as an expert, correspondent, journalist, pundit etc outline who they voted for at the previous election and the source of their income. They put up details of MPs, their constituency and majority when speaking in parliament, I don't see why that couldn't be done for the many pundits who litter the airwaves offering to be independent (like the dreadful populist Kate Andrews) but are nothing of the sort.

While I agree with the sentiment, the problem is you get the Farages or Trumps saying something like "People are saying that immigrants in Ohio are killing our pets and eating them". Its not actually a lie, because people are saying that even though it is just a malicious rumour that blew up and was spread around (mostly by the Trump campaign).

So they'd just word it differently using "I read online..." or "People are saying..." or similar and get around any rules you put in to stop lies.

Then I'd make it so that it they had to say something along the lines of "I stated that I had heard rumours of blah blah. These rumours have no basis in fact and by repeating them I was misleading you the voting public".

A little like our defamation laws (i think) where if I was to go to your boss and say 'ive heard rumours that Scoff is a thief' you could sue me for defamation for repeating it. I believe that should be a similar system used in politics, the candidate (and then the sitting mp/pm/president) should be responsible for making sure any claims they make it repeat are true

Whether you’re a fan of Springsteen or not, he pretty much nails it here regarding Trump…it’s safe to say he’s not a fan.

I am 68, retired former Software developer and I am funded by The State pension and my Jaguar and British Coal occupational pensions, I don't know any Russian Oligarchs.

I am a member of The Green party and donate regularly to the RNLI mainly due to Farage's comments about them.

    Is that ok?
