Looks like there's been another allotment of shares in the UK BFC entitiy, based on a notification from Companies House I've just received.

30,000 new shares issued, taking the total up to 60,000.

Presumably this is related to the ongoing inward investment into the club (NB: from those shareholders that some people are actively wanting to depart from it), but no further details available at the present time.

Hopefully it means a further dilution of the shareholdings of Conway and Lee, which are already at a level where they have no influence on decision making within the club.

One for the numbers nerds, like myself, but it's consistent with the fact that the club continues to be funded on a regular basis by the current owners, which is in stark contrast to the previous regime.

No. He still has a shareholding, as far as I'm aware, that has been diluted via previous share issues.

I thought it said after the court case he was no longer a shareholder. I wonder how him and lee are going on. Lee blamed Conman as his advisor for not providing the correct information to the efl.
I've also noted in the Directors appointments and resignations history. During feb 2015 James was appointed as a director and resigned the same day. Apparantly ? Mansford was appointed a director the same day. And shortly afore the Crawley game. Lol 4 days after. He Rejoined in 2017 during the Takeover.

Just my personal belief but I think Chien Lee was well intentioned just taken for a ride by Conway.

Several clubs later youd have thought he'd have cottoned on. But lee has been the downfall as well for em falling from grace.

Lee / Conway era was a black mark on our history & has set us back massively as a club.

I feel we are slowly moving forward, having now offloaded them largely & some of the very poor signings, like Oulare & Iseka.

Still a lot of work to do, but I'm excited about the football we may see this season. Still a massive leap to get back to being a Championship club, no thanks to them & their legacy.

While I agree with the fact that they set us back, I feel we have recovered a lot since then, apart from our historical Championship home. We have been close two out of the past three seasons in returning there, and hopefully third time is the charm. I think the board are doing a great job stabilizing the club and the finances, even if other things off the field are still questionable.

I fully agree with you. I think that was the emphasis of my post, although we are, because of our position & the finance coming from TV deals, that favours the Championship a lot, in a place where that step up is harder than ever. I think with a lot of young prospects, ready for the first team, like Yoganathan, Lofthouse, Jalo, etc, with older heads around them, we are working our way to a position of being a potential Championship side again. Only time will tell.

I suggested that to Neerav when I chatted with him and his response was that they were as bad as each other, which was a bit of a surprise at the time.

Cheers. That's a surprise to me. I assumed Chien Lee was the money and that was it.

It's not like the previous incumbents didn't invest though. They just didn't spend the money wisely. Part of this group were in bed with them too. The current people "in charge" are doing a better job but I'd rather they'd stepped in sooner and been injecting these funds in the Championship. Let's not kid anyone they aren't knights racing to a damsel on a Steed.

Didn't they only "step in" following a chance remark?

Depends if you believe the narrative that they told at the time or the one they've recently told the fa which contradicts it
