Murphy didn't make anyone aware of the issue that led to the EFL charges. He did however make Neerav aware that Conway represented shareholders who were out of the picture rather than them being his own shares as was thought, which ultimately resulted in JAQ being brought in and him and Lee being voted off the board. I assume this is what Hooky feller means.
That is exactly what the INA was. That's the very issue that the club became aware of upon Mr Samuelson emailing director Rob Zuk.
That’s what happens when you (I) dont read the whole post!! what I would say though is I was under the impression it was Neerav who said Murphy told him in passing, what prompted them to send the email & I find it hard to believe an employee (Zuk) when receiving that email didn’t speak to a director first and if he did I wouldn’t have thought it would have been Conway.
The question is what led Samuelson to email everyone? I doubt one day in a state of whimsy he thought... Hmm, I think I'll email all senior ownership figures that don't know I exist, have never had contact with before and put everything into a domain that can be used as a position of leverage.
That doesn't discount or alter the fact what I said and heard from the horses mouth way before the case went to the efl. It was mentioned by Dane in general conversation to other members of the board. (Many others were present at the meeting when it was mentioned) About Conway's tenure as chairman. Was for a fixed term. Bugger all about the case. The case I said maybe. As I dont know how it was presented only through the way you reported on here. But Danes comment in passing may have been the catalyst to examine the affairs.
That's how I saw it at the meeting I was present at when Nareev mentioned it. (I couldnt remember who exactly said it at the time. So held court on that one. I don't think and will stand corrected Dane was at that meeting. Having possibly already left. My timelines are not that great) . Thanks for your input I started to doubt myself. As to what was exactly said verbatim.
