I can’t find anything positive to take away from that game. First half was just poor from both sides, and very boring to watch. Also, DKD on the left wing ? Second half, we switched (I think) to 4-4-2 and briefly looked like we might be effective. Any hope barely lasted 5 minutes. Stevenage outfought and out thought us. Our defence is as frail as ever and all goals looked like defensive mistakes from the far end of the ground. Our supposed award winning midfield were pitiful and their distribution was just horrific. Most disturbing of all - there was a clear lack of any kind of a coherent plan. We looked clueless going forward with passes sprayed randomly into space or straight to the opposition. And when pressed, which Stevenage did well, we just crumbled. And the defence - still panicky, still disjointed, disunited, nervy and vulnerable. Same as last year basically. Only positive was Jalo - at least he tried to make something and wasn’t afraid to run at players. Nobody else did this?
