Good to see him sat with Barnsley Fans tonight wearing his Barnsley Shirt. Took time to have photos with Fans and talk to them.
    Andy Dallas was there too

Another big well done to the people behind the scenes.. Last season in a far weaker league than this he just may have been the difference. His partnership with Cole was bearing fruit. The 'we know what where doing trust us'.. definitely don't at Bfc.

Agree with this. They had formed a really good partnership both on and off the pitch. That’s quite difficult to replicate. I thought it was madness getting rid of him at the time and I still think it now

His best half was the play off final. Although id take him over some of the players we have now.

He's done little since leaving us, despite playing at a much much easier level. We haven't missed him.

No we have missed him, he has maybe dropped off due to where he is playing, but I think he was another Hammill , Barnsley was his club, and like scunthorpe were paul Hayes club

If he was as good as some make him out to be he wouldn't have dropped to non league

He was decent for us mate. Very hard worker up top which is valuable. But the way some fans go on about him is as though we let a prime Didier Drogba leave on a free. If we signed a random with his record for Oldham now fans would be fuming.

I thought he went to Oldham because he lived there and he got banned from driving or I think he would still be in league football

But he wouldn't be random we know him and what he can do, which is more than the ones we have

Devante Cole lived in Manchester and gave him a lift to training half the season before. I heard he had a fall out with the then chairman can't remember his name.

Yes we know all about that but, he didn't want to have to rely on Cole which I can understand. And if Cole had moved on at that time he would probably have had no job

Fair enough I get that they were apparently good mates when they were here but if Cole had moved he would have been stuck. Although he's moved on his record since leaving us isn't great in the national league and I think he is over rated by many. Imo

I just think he had a liking for us and think he would up his game again, but I don't know if he is still banned from driving
