Didn't have any in Northern Ireland, so Republic Tayto. My wife was married to an Irish bloke for 40-odd years so she knew how good they were. I'd never heard of them myself but we bought loads of them and gave them out to our family when we got back. We had a great time, went to Belfast, Carrick Fergus, Derry, Donegal, Sligo, Galway, Tipperary, Limerick, Cork, Dublin. I think my favourite place was Derry, had a great night in a brilliant pub with live music.
Unfortunately I've never managed to try them but apparently there are two factories ( North & South) that are not financially connected now, but with devotees for both. Tayto in Dublin were the first in the world to do Cheese & Onion flavoured crisps.
The pineapple, played for forest I think, black guy can't remember his name, seem to remember it affected his career with the stick he got, felt sorry for him in the end but admittedly thought it was funny at first.minds gone blank.
