Ok lads, I think we do have some fans of the Nfl on here, ehh, don't we lol. I still support the Dallas team (and I always will do of course), so how b'out them Cowboys.
49ers fan myself. Gutted last season, really thought we'd do it. Bad start to the season so far but a few players out. Anybody but chiefs this year please.
I’ve been a Steelers fan for over 40 years. Watch every game irrespective of start time so I’m a bit obsessed. I’ve not missed a Steelers game for about 15 years. We live in hope this year. Best defense in the NFL, but still short on the other side of the ball. Justin Fields has done a good job so far and it will be interesting to see if he can keep it going with his new found confidence. The standard is the standard.
Been a NFL fan for 50 years and managed a game at Wembley every year. Shame it's mostly the jags now, but it's better than none at all.
Was always a Washington Redskins fan as a young un, used to watch it on a Sunday night on channel 4 and used to stop up and watch Super Bowl every year. Used to know most oftop players and QB names etc. Don't even know what Redskins changed their name to now.
40 years supporting the bloody New York Jets. The only NFL team with a trophy cabinet smaller than that at Oakwell.
Commanders-they have a stellar rookie QB Jayden Daniels-check out his last game watch the youtube link
Bills fan got an away top in red with josh allen on back. Bills look ace this season 3-0 . Smashed jacksonville on tuesday night. Beat dolphins last week. I fsncy them for superbowl.
I remember there were also a number of Washington fans at school, going back to the early-mid 80s. So the division rivalry that we/Dallas have with them, was always a good one. Same with Philadelphia as well, and N.Y Giants, who we beat again last night btw.
I still have some spare tickets for the London games, if anyone is interested. One spare for Jags @ Bears at White Hart Lane on 13th Oct and 2 for Patriots @ Jags at Wembley on 20th Oct. Having 3 consecutive Sundays of games means our season ticket group are giving some a miss, given the need to travel each weekend.
Couldn't care less, to be fair football is the only sport I really genuinely follow. Watch tennis, boxing, MMA and a bit of the darts but not to the extent I do football. Out of interest, how did everyone who follow NFL pick their teams? Always boggles my mind when football fans support clubs miles away (unless family support i.e their dad ofcourse) so how did you all decide which club to support?
And you felt the need to go out of your way to tell us that, did you ehh Mr Frogger kid. For me (and I think many other fans of my age at that time), it was a new and interesting sport to watch, on Ch4, in 82-83. And as daft as it sounds, as a fan of Western films, I liked the 'Cowboys' thing. Even though I hate the pretentious need for a teams second name, that they insist on in U.S sport.
Hey uncle Terry lol, we/Dallas visit your Pittsburgh team next, so I hope you will make us welcome, and roll out the red carpet for us.
Apologies if it came across as condescending bud! Didn't mean it to seem that way at all. American sports are certainly growing over here now, but just don't tickle my fancy at all. I wouldnt even know where to begin picking a random team to follow. Whats the closest equivalent to Barnsley in the NFL?
