Correct. Have to say I preferred him in The Saint. That Volvo he used to drive. I wanted a car like that when I grew up.

Hey Dj, I saw all of Roger's 007 Bond films at the pictures (the cinema lol), and I'm a big fan of him.
At the old cinema thing in Wakey btw, which no longer exists anymore, as its been pulled down!.
And when I saw Live and let die there in the mid 70s, there was an extra 'free' film that Sunday afternoon, called Cactus Jack.
It was a comedy western film starring Kirk Douglas and an unheard of actor called Arnie Schwarzenegger!.

Which cinema? There was the ABC on Kirkgate and the Classic on Westgate. The ABC had those Saturday morning ABC Minors clubs there. Bloody loved them. You got a Western serial, cartoons, an episode of Flash Gordon and a Children's Film Foundation main feature. Sometimes had a live magician on or on one occasion, some fella doing yo-yo tricks (not a euphemism!). It was cheap childminding for your mam & dad basically. We used to sit upstairs and chuck stuff over the balcony. It was a huge one-screen cinema back then, with a dress circle. Saw Jaws there and Star Wars.....queues right back up Sun Lane to get in. The Classic got turned into an indoor skatepark!

Err I would have suggested Henry Caville, but he's being greedy at the moment isn't he lol, and is getting suggested for everything.
And although he's maybe too young for the role at the moment (he looks too young, but he is 41 actually), surely Dan Stevens will be Bond one day. :)

Yo Mick, it was the one where you'd drive round the back to, if you were also going to park at what used to be the Tesco, but it's B&M now of course.
And I think there was a garage and a swimming baths further up that lane.

    our chant was summat like:
We love to laugh and have a sing song
Just a happy crowd are we !
    We’re all friends together ….
    We’re minors of the .. A .. B.. C

The series was very well done. The last season was poor as I recall Adrian Paul basically wanted out.
But otherwise some great stroy telling and interesting flashbacks through "Duncan" McLeods life.
I'd recommend giving it another chance if you enjoyed the first movie.
Agree all the subsequent movies are largely poor.
I like Cavill and he will respect the role as he's a top guy. I just worry about it being overly complicated. The premise is best left shrouded in mystery and focus on the emotional impact of immortality and out living loved ones.
