    When does this actually open and the other road close? Been built for ages but shut at the roundabout.

    I’m guessing they were waiting until all the houses were sold before they opened it up? So folk weren’t put off buying.

    I don’t think Dearne Hall Road is actually closing. I’ve not seen any plans to suggest it’s being blocked off at one end. The junction at the millers will be swapped to keep traffic moving through Dearne Hall Lane.

    No idea when it’s supposed to be opening though.

    The original plans were to block it off. But I don't believe that's happening anymore.

    It weren't even surfaced properly when I walked up it a few weeks ago. All the houses finished though.

    Yeah, the original plan was to close the Hudds Road end off and access only from Millers. If that’s changed then fair enough.

    But does make you wonder when the lane will open - spent some money on that roundabout to assist with the project.
