I'm at a wedding in Ilfracombe. If I set off now, I'll get there shout an hour after full time, if I don't get pulled for drink driving.
Preparing to not go to Oakwell. 7.45 on Saturday is no time for football. Off to a birthday party instead.
I’m the opposite love late kick offs on a Saturday got all day to do what you want then match at night . Will be a cracking atmosphere tonight
Had a walk into Brid, bus load in from Athersley an New Lodge Club, met up wi mi Brother an his Wife an met an old pal from darn Honeywell Steve Smith, great day an nar ready for the big one. Enjoy yer evening everyone, a win an wer 3rd. keep the faith, C,O,Y,R.
Staying nights at Chester .. wife’s birthday. We drove here at lunchtime and I had no idea that match was tonight as I was going to miss it anyway
Watching cricket under a duvet while feeding the worst cold I’ve had for years. It’s been with me nearly all week and knocked all the energy out of me. Looking forward to watching us on Sky and getting that third place back. So I’ll be one of (probably) quite a few ST holders counted as present while not actually there.
Done some housework, watched Lyths and Wharton s centuries and read a bit. I agree, hate Saturday night games, don't feel right.
Fitting celotex insulation boards into a small loft, sweating like a very very sweaty pig. Then ready for the match on tv.
Seems conducive to a better atmosphere. Possibly more money for the club too. 3pm kick off people will rarely have a drink drink, because they're driving etc. 7:45 KO on a Saturday will mean a lot will have gotten to the FanZone at 6ish and have a few pints there, then straight into town after the match. I'm expecting a loud atmosphere. EDIT - I just hope the lads put on a proper performance and get the place bouncing!
Got to agree spent all day in the sun ,still sat watching the sun go down with pre match pints ,then off to watch the game in a pub ,with kebab shop next door. The gift that just keeps giving
Drove over to Stockport to see my daughter. Been to pub, played Darts. Went to The Blossoms pub, picked up a curry. All set to watch the game on Sky. Come on you Reds.
Must add that I’m at home, thousands of miles away, and having to sit on my arse relaxing because I’m running a marathon tomorrow. If I was in town all day on the beers with pals I’d probably think it’s the best kick off time ever
