I'd happily drive Cosgrove back up to Scotland and he can go play in the Scottish League One because whilst he may put in a rare decent performance, his overall contributions and consistency levels are nowhere near what's required for a team aiming for the top 6.

Shame we didn't keep hold of Addai. Looks like he could mature into a great keeper. Saves me getting On a Ragga Tip in my head every time I see him though.

Garbage. Sitting back defending a 1 goal lead with our fùcking defence. That being said, if Dodgy catches the ball instead of punching it they don't score.

Im with you here. I think part of the issue with possession and passing is that we arent showing for the pass. Often its pass and no move. I commented in 1st half that we arent creating diamonds when a midfielder has the ball. Options are limited so we dwell on it or rush a ‘get rid quick’ pass.

Very good point. Ridiculous decision to punch it

Nearly as ridiculous as the decision to release Corey Addai is looking.

I guess Collins kept getting us results despite us playing poor football. Although I rarely thought we were outplayed during the majority of the season under Collins' tenure, it was just boring (we fell apart for the last 10 games or so, because we were properly found out that we weren't very good). Clarke has got a different approach to Collins, he's not about keep ball and protecting the defence, but it actually looks worse. Having said that, the defence, particularly Roberts, looked very good today. Keeper was very good too. Collins never had that. With Pines, Roberts and Earle at the back for the next game, we should be able to offer more going forward than we have done so far, without them thinking they've got to protect the defence, like they had to do last season.

Apparently the performance was a bit bitty according to the plain speaking one. I'd say it was a bit ******* crap myself

They were far from 5 hit. Played some lovely stuff in midfield.
They made fools of our 'best midfield in L1'

So what do we do now? Persevere with Humphries. I would drop MDG and O’K. Pines in but who would play left wing back? Here it starts to raise squad Qs.

Play Marsh he looked like he should have been left back in changing rooms.

The midfield are strolling through games like they are world beaters, fancy flicks giving possession away far to easily. The head coach needs to start telling them a few home truths about their performances. We all know the defence is vulnerable but that might just be because of the pressure they are put under by a midfield that doesn't take good enough care of the ball when we have possession.

As bad as we were tonight. We would have won without the needless subs.

Where to start with that garbage? Aside from Cotter, O’Keefe, MDG and maybe Earl they were absolutely shocking, keeper made some important saves but can’t kick for toffee.
Craig, Connell, Cosgrove, Marsh, Keilor-Dunn all truly awful, Craig & DKD especially! In fact he looked good on debut but has been shocking since.

The most annoying thing for me was when marsh and benson hadn't been on long, marsh ran forwards and Benson went to go forward too only for them both to be told to come back and defend by Connell, earl and then the manager waving backwards.

What's the ******* point of putting a small striker on and asking him to defend? What's the point in taking Craig off and asking Benson to defend?

Pathetic decisions and cowardly game management cost us massively today.

What I want to know is why do we seem to have manager after manager who all play the same formation, tactics and employ the exact same game management? Who behind the scenes is dictating how we play? And are they qualified to do so?

Solid punch but terrible control from Benson and it came straight back at us

That's because we've got an awful midfield. Phillips is always non existent which means we have 2 men to cover the entire width of the field because cotter and O'Keeffe are defenders. It never works and never will, not consistently anyway.

His substitutions made no sense but then again his tactic of trying to hold on to a 1-0 lead for 95 minutes made even less sense.
