I've watched some crap over the years but this might actually be the worst thing I've ever seen. Absolutely dogger.
You are right MR it was absolutely crap you knew what would happen at the end and like a lot of people said why did they not just turn the power off or when it was stopped park a train at the front and back
It was very tense and a decent watch, but fu¢k me.....some of the dialogue was laughable. Massive jeopardy.....many lives at stake.....but Joe and Abbie thought it okay to flirt massively over the sat-phone. Didn't they read the bloody script??!?
It was entertaining but absolutely ridiculous. There were so many holes in the plot & the female lead & the bad guy just felt completely unbelievable characters to me.
Watched half of the first episode and turned over to watch The Wives on Channel 5, which was even worse!
We enjoyed it, don't get why folk have to over analyse stuff these days, yes there were flaws in the plot and the script pushed things a bit but it was an easy exciting watch if you just sat back and didn't think too much
I binge watched it over the weekend and really enjoyed it in a 'switch your brain off and go with the flow' kind of way
Not seen the last two parts yet, but so far its an enjoyable watch - like a Temu 24. Biggest gripe is them suddenly removing the entirety of Lancashire. The train is stopped on Ribbleshead (Carlisle-Leeds line). It then reverses back to the West Coast Mainline at Carlisle and goes back south on that. Next thing you know, its heading towards Leeds again having suddenly avoided Preston, Wigan, Manchester and/or Bradford/Halifax to get there. And if it was going to Leeds, why not carry on south on the Settle line. Then it passes Leeds on the Midland Mainline (which only goes as far as Sheffield) but is still going to Euston somehow and not St Pancras...
The wife watched it over a couple of nights. I half watched the first episode, then played on my phone/napped for the remainder.
