    We have no left footed attacking minded players and that just showed with Lofthouse, he was running down the left wing but had to cut inside to get the ball onto his right foot.

    Not signing a left wing back is showing here.

    That droning noise is the 100 or so Wycombe fans "singing" tunelessly and totally in keeping with a boring game.

    Mistake after mistake, no forward runs, nothing to get excited about. Thank goodness this is costing me nothing on my free Sky+ app courtesy of Vodafone. Had I paid even a penny for it (so far) I would have felt robbed.

    Cue the team suddenly wakes up and starts entertaining us......o_O

    We’re a tough watch these days.

    It’s worse at home because we expect a bit more. Away we’re a bit more patient and more accepting of the grinding football to get a result.
    It’s hard to see where the fundamental problem is. Woeful pre season recruitment or poor Coaching. I’ve quite a bit of sympathy for Clarke. Too early to judge him and, like all Coaches here, he’s been given a woeful hand.

    What I would say is, if we do score, it changes everything. Clarke is a God and we’re definitely in the Champions League within 4 years.

    The clamour for Lofthouse to be given a start is looking a bit silly so far. He's hopeless down that left wing. Here's a crazy idea - play the right footer on the right side. Too rational?
