Wycombe - Matchday Thread

Same as weekend, bright start, but soon slipped into sloppy nothingness. They're no better either. Dreadful game.

 

A proper boring League 1 side is what they’re turning into. Start to put us in the same bracket of; Stevenage, Wycombe, Burton, Exeter etc.

No-one willing to get on the half-turn. CB’s who just launch it, a GK insistent of time wasting when it’s 0-0 and we’re at home.

Mansfield, Stockport etc. are going to be a better option for players going forward.

It’s a shame really, a ******* travesty in all honesty….

 

Well Barry played well. Other than that we've been watching two pub teams.

I know, I was speaking more in general terms as in the last few games he's been none existent.

Also why I mentioned Lofthouse as playing poor today.

 

He's selected a back 4 consisting of 4 centre backs, two defensively minded midfield players as his central midfield, a right wing-back as his right midfielder and another right wing-back as his left midfielder, and an attacking midfielder up front.

We don't appear to be offering any attacking threat. Who'd have thought it?

 

Wow if this is supposed to be the head coaches exciting inspiring brand of football. I don't want to see us playing his boring uninspiring brand. That was ******* dire.

Well I really enjoyed the first 43 seconds , and after that it was a bit disappointing

 

How sad to see how far backwards we have gone from the team that lost in the playoff final. I am really struggling to see how this team can improve at the minute. Any quality these players may have had seems a distant memory.

 

Yeah ever since I have upgraded my phone it’s being doing this occasionally with some posts.

Well, that was a hard 45 to watch. Hopefully Clarke gets into them at half time and at least turns the tempo up. Showing how light we are up front in terms of quality at the moment.

 

I like it, far more entertaining trying to decipher them than watching the game

Been saying for ages Connell doesn’t suit been higher up the field we’d be better picking only 1 of him & Craig. I’d love for Benson to get match fit as he’d start every game for me (He’s shown in brief spells before he’s more than capable).
