Another big game Kane has gone missing in, like he did at the weekend. Great if you need an hat trick against Keil or Bochum. Less good if you want him to perform in the Champions League or against the current German champions.

To be fair, 3 of them were penalties and a tap in my 3 week old niece would score. However, I do agree with your point. Yes, Kane has gone missing in some big games, but he's also scored & played well in many too. 14 goals in 17 games against Arsenal, the highest scoring player in the premier league against them - and those were certainly big games. He's an unreal talent, it's a shame he was unfit during the Euros but that's on Southgate, not Kane. His goal scoring is phenomenal, but his overall game player, certainly his passing, is incredible too. The fact he's never had pace to rely on, means he'd be able to play for years still in my opinion, probably drop a little deeper but would still be world class.
