We're a million miles from where we thought we'd be. Sadly there's little to be exited about and despite changes to players, coaches and Management we don't look any different to last season. We won't get relegated but it's going to be a bland mid table season..

Four performances of the last ten days might suggest relegation shouldn't be dismissed too lightly

I said pre season we’ll finish 18th and I’m sticking by it. Fortunately, I think we’re too good to go down based on what I’ve seen but be nowhere near top half. Rightly or wrongly, can see Clarke going before Christmas when it becomes obvious that we aren’t good enough for the top six and he’s playing his part in it. Sormaz is also playing his part with the **** recruitment and should have never gone there. Ridiculous risky appointment for a side that needed this season to be competitive after the last two.

Poor state to go out in the group stage for the first time ever and with a game to spare.

We are a million miles away from being too good to go down, because for a start as well as being piss poor in every part of the team there is simply no fight in the squad.

I’d say it’s wrong. Last 4 games have been significantly worse than we saw last season

Plenty of time to put this right, plus the January window, but I’m not sure Clarke will be the man to stay and do it.

Could even be a similar scenario to Johnson & Hecky, but I don’t see Clarke being given as much time as Johnson got.

50/1 to be relegated with hills worth a couple of quid.

The current squad is nowhere near as good as the one we had when Johnson and Hecky were in charge. This is true in every department, so even a very good head coach would have his work cut out.

You’re reading too much into what I’ve said mate. I’m not suggested we see that season mirrored in every detail, just that we may replace Clarke from within and have some success - it was tongue in cheek if anything.

That said, Johnson’s/Heckys players certainly turned out to be good, but it wasn’t always the case.

Not really, just a waste of a couple of quid.

We wouldn't have said the squad was very good when we were in the relegation spots in December to be fair mate

how many players do we think we need to put it right? Will we sign the quality and quantity needed having seen so far we couldn't even prep for the start of the season well enough. Also will Clark show enough progress till Jan to keep the backing. If they sack Collins based on one upcoming game i have no doubt they will get edgy if we continue our free fall.

When we go down I'll bump this post.( You do realise League 2 is game over).
