....the main thing I'm seeing in that line-up is a massive two-finger salute to the travelling faithful.
I think given our terrible display at the weekend he should be sending the same lot out again and telling them to do better.
I get that but at the same time it sends out a strong message to drop all the useless ***** and hit them in the pockets while sending out a strong message to them. One thing though is I hope to god that theyve all been forced to attend the match and watch the kids try to do better than their pathetic display.
To be fair to Clarke - and i don't much like him at all - but he very clearly signposted that this would be the line-up in his press conference
I didn't get the impression he intended to fill the entire bench with kids, most of whom are a million miles from first team contention.
"It won't be loads of young lads I'm I'm honest with you, it'll be senior boys. We've got one or two young lads in there but in general it's lads who need to get some minutes under their belt but also need to show and perform to a level that puts them in my mind ready for Blackpool" Barratt Hayton West Bland James McCann Alker Kozluk
I don't know why anyone is surprised - wasn't there a quote from a previous manager about having to give 1000 minutes per season to youth prospects?
what I really, really want. I'll tell what I want, what I really, really want. I really, really wanna Barnsley win.
I have to agree, last night was a chance to right the wrongs of the previous few weeks, barring the goalie Gent and Nawaki I’d not give the rest anymore than a 2/10, he should’ve (IMO) played some more first teamers to try and get a win
