I think he's got til end of November, or less depending on other clubs sacking managers and putting competition into the equation. First step though is making next weekends effort have some energy and organisation. He'll have had a week and a half to get his ideas and organisation across. He suggests he's a good man manager too. So on that basis, given time, the Blackpool game should see an improvement. If not, I think alarm bells will ring more loudly, irrespective of result.

I could understand him saying this after Saturdays defeat, although there isn’t a gulf between us and Wycombe, Stockport or Stevenage to use as an excuse for not winning. With regards to Tuesday, I don’t think it’s fair to throw in a weakened side and bemoan the gulf in quality.
