He's got us playing like a team at the bottom end of the league not one that should be competing for the play offs as a minimum... Slow and lacking any creativity trying to wear teams down instead of being brave and putting teams on the back foot! It's a different challenge at this level for him trying to get out of the division rather than just stay in it and at the moment he is failing miserably to adapt to that mindset... He won't get long if the penny doesn't drop soon!
I just don't think it's all him. Fans are saying basically the same stuff they did last season. We have talent in this squad, but we have such a weak mindset. Especially at home. Mix all that with toxic feeling from the fans and you've got players who don't wanna find space, don't want the ball, looks to get rid of the ball straight away out of fear, always picking the safe option, naturally dropping back. I wish we had the league one version of Tony Adams.
Have to agree, he talks about other teams as if they are Man City; we are capable of beating most in this league if we have the right mindset, alongside a settled team with an identity.
