Needs sorting as the problem is plain to see. Fans need to book travel many weeks ahead to make it affordable, so there's a clear impact on both club & supporters here. Thanks for sharing, Andy.
The season will be 3.5 months old when we next play a home game with a Saturday 3pm ko. Only the 3rd game. Scandalous.
Yes, noticed that. The Friday game Vs Rotherham will be a mad dash for us, and late home, so the next 'proper' KO is 23rd. Not the game I love.
Yep my Season Ticket is really working well this year Missing the Rotherham game - could have gone had it been the Saturday, I cant do weekday evening games. Saturday lunchtime and evening I can do but the latter requires an overnight stay. Annoyingly I cant make the game on November 23rd - going to see Robert Plant in Woking that evening and cant get back in time, the one time a lunch time KO would have been a plus for me
My last home Saturday game was August 24th due to missing the last one, that means when the Birmingham game is played, wouldn’t surprise me if that’s moved too, it will have been 3 n half months since I last saw a 3pm Saturday home fixture!! Sky are killing the EFL!!!!!
Wonder how long it is before a season ticket includes a Sky subscription… and costs £1000 a season in League One.
What a load of ******** sending letters, so English isn't it - excuse me sir, would you be kind enough to read this letter we have sent you. Follow what the foreign teams do, if we've got a problem forfeit the game, worried about your team's finances then pay into the stadium and then walk out in the 15th min.
I'm in two minds about this. Playing on a range of days and times means more people who work Saturday's can get to go but I do prefer a Saturday 3 on kick off.
To me, it doesn’t matter. I’ve got holiday hours that can be used for midweek games. And my weekends revolve around Barnsley no matter the time they kick off. I understand for some it can causes issues but then what can be done? Surely it’s not ‘Sky killing the EFL’ but the greed of the FA or companies which are in charge. From Sky’s POV they are a business and will aim to increase revenue where they can. If people have a problem it should be directed to the governing bodies who sanction said deals.
