Yes the mods have been lenient over the years with Stephen. Others have been permanently banned for less (not Hemsy).

 

I don't really know who Hemsy is tbh, but from what I've heard, I did used to think he was/is YN.

 

He was THEE master of wind up merchantry mate. I know his ban had something to do with Hassell (or had an impact on his banning), but I can't remember exactly but a lot of the board members weren't too happy.

 

Sorry mate, but he really, really wasn't. Everything he said he believed in. He didn't post with irony, he didn't wind people up, he spoke from his heart. I pretty much disagreed with everything he said, but everything he said was real. You have entirely misunderstood and misrepresented him.

 

Really? Fair enough mate. I never met him so perhaps I was wrong. Plenty called him a WUM and he seemed to revel in it lol. He went against the grain at points ( which was entirely fair until it went too far) and caused uproar on here, perhaps I was just being bias against him because I allowed him to get under my skin at times. I had issues with him on here, as did many, but the one thing he was (seemed to me anyway) was an actual through & through Barnsley fan. Certain stuff got way out of hand though and I certainly think banning him was the right thing
