    So Jalo the only other striker option on the bench I’m guessing Cosgrove and Watters are on Blackpool beach.

    I’m not saying we won’t play 45 different formations but surely it’s 5 at the back again? Back 3 of MDG, Earl and Roberts. O’Keeffe at right wing back and Gent left wing back.

    Bit surprised about Cotter not being in the starting 11 but other than that I think it looks okay as a starting 11. Not much options up top off the bench if we need to chase the game in the second half.

    Watters started season as we hoped he would. Innocuous challenge sidelined him. Now vanished from the face of the Earth.
    I assume Cosgrove has been sent to look for him.

    This looks like a second phase of tinkering to me. Fingers crossed this works but I'm struggling to understand it.

    Hope I'm eating humble pie at 5

    Even with all our striking options available i don’t think they are good enough to have us anywhere near the top six this season.

    Looking at that line up, there's been no change in approach from Clarke. The IB was a perfect time to get the lads on the training pitch and sort out our formation. Stop playing two CDM's who effectively end up stood next to the defenders, putting us under unnecessary pressure and creating a huge gap in the middle of the pitch, hence the hoofball to nobody. Clarke has decided to doggedly stick to the football that's seen some fans wanting him gone....

    Pains me to say it, but I fear a hammering.

    Hope I'm ridiculously wrong...

    So arguably our best player this season, the only one of the whole sorry bunch who actually seems to understand the bizarre concept of 'getting forward' can only get a place on the bench. Ffs.....
