Johnny Evans once scored with a handball clear to everyone bar the officials.

Very much in the camp of there being no such thing.
Cosgrove’s goal last year was just perfect.

Have to Agree with the person who posted Cosgrove.

That for me had everything in terms of worst goal to concede.

The fact that it will probably played for years to come by various outlets and Roberts from yesterday won’t suggests to me that Cossy wins it.

I'm sure we had a right old Keystone cop goal mouth incident when we were in the 4th division that ended up going in off Barry Thomas' arse.

The only goal of the game at Roker Park on boxing day 1988 went in off Jim Dobbin's arse. Gwyn Thomas cleared it, hit Dobbin's arse, it rebounded and trickled over the line (or was it the other way around?). There wasn't a Sunderland player in the same post code. It right royally pissed it down for the full 90 minutes and the away end had no roof. Sunderland, in December, wringing wet through, and your team conjure up a goal for the opposition when there wasn't a sniff of one in the offing. Fun times.

Carl Dickinson’s free kick was pretty **** too wasn’t it? Massive deflection if I remember correctly.

He was a bit of a fan favourite & everyone was buzzing for him at the time but it was a pretty crap goal.

I thought he'd go on to have a proper long career in the championship. He had a few seasons in championship but majority league one and below - still a cracking career by anyone elses standard mind

There really is no such thing, as a 'worst' winning goal lol.
I'd say softest or poorest, but not worst.

Certainly jogged my memory there lol.
It was packed in our section too. They put us on the far section on the left (as you look onto the pitch). Seem to recall a load of folk complaining to the police, to no avail.
