Look back at both goals conceded, both glaring errors from loan players. Craig awful for equaliser, goaly awfull for second. Can we develop our own players please.
Will somebody in the coaching staff learn that ******* Muppet in our nets how to catch a ******* football and if he can't learn before our next match send him packing.
Another game thrown away by silly errors. What was that punch from Slonina? In the end we have to be happy with the point. Well done for coming back. Lovely finish by Watters. The thing to cling to tonight was the vastly improved performance overall. So long as Connell isn't badly injured we have a lot to look forward to.
I don’t agree. Defensively we have looked shambolic for a long time. Roberts has helped but there isn’t a single other Defender I’d keep at the Club. Not one of them is progressing. Having said that, I thought we’re unlucky not to win that tonight. An improved performance.
There would be plenty sat waiting to crucify our own players, the first mistake they made. It’s already started with some, for Jalo and Vimal.
Frustrating. I thought we did enough to win that, but you just can’t have these times where players have brain embolisms at random moments. The first was god awful defending by a lot of players culminating in a keeper standing still. The second…. There are goalkeepers who have full time work in some other profession and now and then turn out for their local pub team who would do better than that 999 times out of a thousand. Just dreadful. Send him back, play Smith. A real pity as there were some good signs. Dunn flitted about a bit better, Connell stayed deeper generally, Gent showed good promise going forward and by far the brightest light was Humphrey’s. Honorable mention to Watters too. A quality finish and good energy from his cameo. Just a shame two shockingly amateur moments gave a former player opportunity to cost us points. And he took them.
I think we were both very unlucky not to win that with another improved performance but we were at the same time totally architects of the2 points dropped by a piece of shambolic defending and a keeper who is incapable of catching a ball and totally spineless!
it's nothing to do with loan players and our own players, it's that they're crap, we've had tons of class loan players
Glad Watters is back. His effort and form this season should give him confidence and a chance in the team.
Can't really blame the defenders tonight, overall they played well. Two individual errors really. The issue is still further up the pitch, should have been able to put the game to bed. Created nothing again really in 90 minutes, hoping for lucky deflections that drop into our players paths. Very little quality on show. Again I think the failings of the transfer window have been laid bare but is papered over with a point at the end.
I'm going to still say we are improving. Ok maybe not in the scoreline but in overall play was an improvement adding to last week too. The keeper has had a "mare" for the second and although down to 10 that ball should be cleared for their first. Other than that we should have been out of sight but for good keeping and poor finishing. The positives tonight were Humphries was emmence and almost unplayable, Roberts and of course never say die rescuing the point. Unlucky tonight but better, much better, passing pretty good, press good. Just need to add more quality in front of goal and hope our keeper sorts out the high ball stuff. Overall well played.
Despite being bitterly disappointed with the result I'm more than happy with the improvement after the Huddersfield debacles. Tonight we had 22 attempts on goal, 10 on target, hit bar, goalie made a couple of great saves, one superb block on the line, and generally played much more positive going forward. People slate Cosgrove and Watters, but Cosgrove won the header onto Waters and he finished in style. Both having been on the pitch only minutes. The team didn't give up after going behind in 93rd minute. Yes a couple of daft mistakes cost us but it could so easily have been a 4-1 victory. Fine lines.
