First half he was excellent and linked up well with DKD. Felt he faded a bit in the second half but was still decent. You’ve got to wonder why he wasn’t starting games before this little run. Unless we’ve eased him in and it’s benefiting us and him now perhaps. Hopefully he can keep it up.
Signs of progress at Blackpool & even better tonight. Because he’s the only left back at the club we just have to play him & get behind him. We can’t go back to Earl at wing back & Roberts playing left sided centre back. There’s just no balance.
Don't think there was anything sinister in it. I don't think he was ready and I think Clarke has manged him well.
I saw enough good signs at Huddersfield to hope he'd be given a run, and fair play to Darrell he's done that. He will be good for us. Might be in the minority tonight, but I feel as enthused/optimistic after the game as I have all season. Despite - for me - throwing another home win away.
