Say it virtually every time we play at home now, we are weak-minded. Our mentality at home is shockingly bad. Too many errors, no composure, players just getting shut of balls, players not running into space wanting the ball, but... I do think it's slowly changing. It was fantastic to see the lads work for the late equaliser, it took some real effort after how late we conceded, and the manner of it. I still see the same things we've seen over the past couple of years at home, struggling, but I thought for large parts of the game we actually played well and deserved the win. There were spells where we did retreat, didn't get stuck in, etc, but doesn't seem to be as prolonged. We look scared at times and I think we still capitulate under pressure for a period during the match, but it does feel to me like it's slowly changing. I hope it is, anyway. We were desperately unlucky not to be further in front when Charlton scored.
I agree with most of that, that’s why I left angry tonight, because 1 goal was never going to be enough because of our panicky error-ridden defending.
Exactly he's not going to play and he's not bothered about playing quite obviously. There are plenty of experienced players out there who need to take responsibility.
Because our defenders are not great.. plus the best midfield in the league doesn't offer much cover.. Never in a million years is our captain a holding midfielder. And for all the plaudits Craig had at Donny he's not stepped it up with any consistently by any means
