Who missed the equaliser? Me for one, stormed out at the end like a snowflakey little spoilt chav, & I let the team & everyone around me let them know. That's what being a life long fan & a season ticket holder for 35 years does. You blummin reds
Me, first time. Don’t usually get angry but I did tonight. Also missed their first, but that was the club’s fault coz that free coffee took its toll and I needed to pee
Just this. I’ve seen more than enough late goals to know that one or even 2 goals can be scored in almost no time Tend to stay even if it’s 3 or 4 goals but never leave if it’s one
Not only did I miss their 2nd but I also missed our equaliser. Blame the first on a weak bladder. When their 2nd went in I thought there's no point heading back to my seat so I headed for the exit. I'd almost got to the gates when we equalised.
Me ..... and I'd walk out again if same thing happens. I'm sorry but how some are saying that acceptable performance .... shots on target whoop di doo.... the atmosphere, the style if football is just dire .... I'm sorry, I've watched this club for 45 years and this is terrible.
We missed it, think that's only the second time in 30 odd years I've left early. I was so disgusted by the schoolboy defending for their second goal. No wonder people stop going, no way there was 12k there last night.
One of my favourite things is when people leave & then we score. One fella got to the top of the gangway & screamed abuse at Slonina for about 10 seconds, headed down to the course & then we scored about 30 seconds later. Brilliant.
My favourite thing is when a goalkeeper doesn’t gift goals to the opposition. We were always a country of goalkeepers, but my club hasn’t had a decent one of its own for a long while.
Atmosphere seams to be getting even worse at home games even when wee winning its true what away fans sing to us football in a library
Nope. Always stay to the end. No “better fan alert” I think I’m just a tightwad! And maybe wants to support the team a bit too. We sit West Lower so if it’s a game that we probably should leave early, like Lincoln last season, we have a slow wander out into injury time so as soon as the full time whistle goes, we’re practically at the exit gates.
The mass exodus after their 2nd prompted my mate to say.for the first time ever, ' Shall we go". I said no and 10 seconds later we scored. I've never left a Barnsley match before the final whistle even when losing 6-0. It would feel like leaving a gig before the encore
Obviously it’s each to their own but if I ever get to the stage that I value beating the traffic above watching the end of my teams games then that’s when I’ll give up going. I appreciate some have genuine reasons like a long journey or going to work afterwards.
Never left a game with only 1 goal separating the sides or drawing. Although I came close last night I was that pig sick. If I'd stormed off when cardiff equalised in injury time in the league cup when we were up 2-0 till the last minutes of normal time. I'd have missed my all time favourite goal. A winner from Banksy. Shame I've never seen a recording of it.
I missed it as left after Slonina **** up. A bit of Deja vu of Northampton game with 2 points thrown away by goalkeeper who does even try to catch the ball. Slonina's education in the art of goalkeeping is cost us points.
Must admit I stormed off with the face on. I was so angry with the goals we conceded that hearing our equaliser while walking thru the south stand car park didn’t even cheer me up at the time!!
