    I think it’s as much mental as it is technical. We are desperate for a calming influence at 3 and we’re getting a cat on a hot tin roof at the minute. Would love to see Smith at 3 but he’s missing the NZ series.

    Wouldn’t surprise me if Root moved up to three.
    I know four is his preferred spot but he’s fine anywhere basically

    I know he prefers four but it may help sort out our problem three ( that is if Pope is dropped which I don’t think he should anyway )
