    A few recent ones missing mate?

    Re September 86, we broke down en route and arrived at Gay Meadow just before half time and in time for them to score the only goal of the game. Thumbed it home and then broke down the following Tuesday (different car) on our way back from Roker in the full members, or whatever it was named back then.

    I went to all those losing games there in the 80s, and we were poor. We really were a crap away side back then. The one we did win on New Years Eve was a belter though. We had a good team and Shrews ended up going down. Proper end to end game and we had a good wet in a bowls club near the ground.

    Shrewsbury always has a place in my mind..

    1997. We beat them at home 2-1.

    David Moyes own goal was the winner. I think Steve Lowndes scored as well.
