Solid performance and a great win with lots of positives, defence looks a lot better with Pines in it, he seems to love defending.

 

There's no wonder the Shrewsbury fans are booing off their team. That performance was abysmal from them. Worst team Barnsley have played in many seasons.

Killip clean sheet and decent save. Just what he needed to cement himself as the number one.

 

Dominated until the subs. Then meh, but still fully deserved.

Killip had very little to do, but he didn't make things hard for himself by punching the ball away, he just caught it.

 

Comfortable victory against a poor team. But there's no such thing as a poor away win and excellent to see a clean sheet, too.

We outplayed them and got 2 in front with a couple of excellent finishes.

And then drew stumps. Fair enough, I suppose.

There's a decent enough team still to be fully put together from the players we've got. If only we had even one decent wide player......

Not caught today’s game as I’m in the north east but delighted to see another three points on the board.

I’ll be drinking to that tonight for sure!

 

Could have been worse could have brought Cosgrove on.

 

To be honest he ain’t a good manager and we just got lucky today against a poor team,I will say one thing though he got the call right with goalkeeper and to think they paid millions for him.

 

They were a very poor side and look in real danger of relegation unless they can turn it around. But you can only beat what’s in front of you and we did that comfortably. Could’ve been much more comfortable too.

 

Clean sheet and three points so nothing we can really complain about - but the substitutions once again were baffling and weakened us.

I didn’t see the need - but we’ve seen out a win to nil, so what do I know?

Killip didn’t have stacks to do but isn’t it nice to see a keeper make saves but also catch the ball? He’s no Lev Yashin but he’s a better bet for selection than Slonina currently imo.

Maybe Smith has a shout for the shirt when he’s back from the cod heads.

Comfortable win, but we made it Comfortable, we look good shape wise today didn't offer space down the sides or in behind, tactically spot on so we'll done DC and the boys.

Thought our game management was mature and even to the point where Cotter took the p**s also couldn't work out if Killip stumbled or made a sarcastic dive to a shot they dragged wide, love that confident side to us when we're on it.
