Shrewsbury were very poor but I thought we played reasonably well and very pleased for both scorers who I hope get a run in the team.

Great goal and a danger throughout his time on the pitch so Watters for me.

I've gone with Russell, just in front of Watters.

Really tough one this. Picked out 3 players (Russell, Watters and Gent) in my other thread but the 3 centre backs all looked solid, Connell had his best game for a while and the rest all showed glimpses of real quality.

Opted for Watters as they couldn’t deal with his running in behind and, on another day, he could’ve been taking the match ball home with him. I won’t be upset if Russell or Gent get this vote though.

Russell for me - Watters was excellent all day and if he’d taken the clean through chance, I might have opted for him.

Russell edged it though; and I don’t think any of them had a poor game really. Not the greatest opposition but still, good team performance today.

Thought Roberts did well, could see his leadership qualities out there. Gent, Russell, Watters and MDG were really un top of their game too.

Russell in the last couple of games looks like the player I’d hoped he could be. Early days but let’s hope it sticks. He has all the talent in the world.

Russell for me, starting to look like a player.

Thought Gent had a very decent game, and Watters too.

Tough one this week. Gent was a revelation in the first half, but Watters ran himself into the ground, scored a great goal, and with a little bit of luck could have had a couple more, so I'm giving it to him. MDG, Russell and Robbo were also outstanding.

Just think Russel brings a calming influence to the side. Excited how players are developing.

Tight call this week with several decent performances but gone for MDG

Russel starting to get exciting, Watters starting to get his confidence back.

If it continues we are going to be a handful.

As long as we score more goals than the opposition.
