https://www.soccerstats.com/homeaway.asp?league=england3 Top of the league for away form. In a relegation battle with home form. It's a shame home advantage means nothing for us.
Its a copy of the Collins season really, seeing as the better results are away from home again. If only that home form could improve a bit more, then the top two could still be a possibility for us this season. Also, ours was the only away win today in Lg One!!.
I still maintain that last season's toxicity at Oakwell had a huge impact on our players - and still lingers with our weak mindset at home. I think at one game last season it took 47 seconds before the jeering started. I really hope we can keep steadily improving our performances and eventually get a nice atmosphere back at Oakwell
Home records not great admittedly, but we’ve only lost once, which is an improvement on last season and this stage.
Maybe it's not a coincidence that our best recent season was during covid? The team and club have got to play a part though. We've had some decent seasons recently, but in all those years I can't remember seeing the first couple of home games and thinking that yes, this is the season we challenge. Symptom of chopping and changing so much I guess - it doesn't help that we rarely have a full team until halfway through September.
as Jr. Didcot Red 3 says: “If we can win our away games and nick a point at home we can win promotion.”
