Would anyone have him back According to Alan Nixon he says Leyton Orient have enquired about signing him as he's available to train now and play from January after Mourinho let him leave Fenerbache.
Only team that gets him in league 1 would be Birmingham. I would guess Rangers or Leeds as his next club.
He’s already been at Rangers for time so doubtful he goes back there, Leeds wanted him a few years ago but doubt he’d fit their remit now. Be great for us in the in the 10 role in the 3-4-1-2 or either side in the 3-4-3 next to the 9. If Leyton Orient are in for him we should be all over it, even if it’s to cover from January until the summer as surely he’s still Championship quality.
Id av thought he would walk into any championship side, no brainer if he's willing to play in League 1
From what I remember. Very skilful but generally the final pass was lacking. But he'll have learned much whilst having more experience. I'm guessing if Orient are in the chase. We would be a more attractive proposition. And as others have said tbf I reckon he's championship material.
Going back to a team and league he knows? Sounds like what many would do to me. I know he’s no longer there but he was apparently on £30K a week in Turkey. He isn’t coming here or to any league 1 club for £5K a week.
Think he was 19 when we had him and Liverpool had a clause where he had to play 75% of games or we got fined.
100% I’d have him back. As others have said though, he’s definitely championship quality so surely that’s where he’ll end up.
I didn't realise he'd left Rangers let alone Fenerbahce! Given the size of clubs he's played for the last 5 years, surely he'll be going to a team higher up the footballing pyramid.
