That’s completely true, but Bobby has known him significantly longer and should know him much better and what makes him tick, that’s not to say it can’t click or someone different can’t get through to him either.
I’m not giving up on him just questioning if he is being handled the best.

 

Lots of talk about hype etc, but that’s irrelevant to this thread, which is about diving. Looked to me like he got caught by a flying arm yesterday, but I can’t say for sure as it was at the other end.

I didn’t like his attempt at winning a pen at T’Udders, but no one in our end would have complained if it had been awarded.

Divings crap, but it’s rife in football, as are poor decisions by officials. Neither will ever go away.

 

Jalo looks ready to me to be playing 20 to 30 minutes a game. Definitely a much better option than cosgrove or marsh from the bench.

 

The fact that there’s a negative thread about an 18 year old who has only played a few minutes is daft imo.

Completely agree though. Most players do it. My bugbear on it is why people keep making posts like this about Jalo every time yet he's not even the worst one for it in our XI let alone the whole pitch. As I said above Okeefe was the master of it against Shrewsbury.

 

Good players who are ready make that difference when the opportunity comes to them that’s how they force themselves into sides. I guess that he’s not trusted to start and used for minimal minutes really tells us where he’s at currently. He should go out on loan.

 

Strange one Marsh I was shocked we gave him a new deal to be honest, failed loan spells and not getting in the squad here. A few years older than jalo and looks behind in terms of ability.
And don't get me started on Cosgrove.

 

Cosgrove has been a big disappointment. Impressive signing initially given how well he’d done at Plymouth. Might do ok as an impact sub at times I suppose. Marsh simply isn’t good enough for me. Needs a loan in January if there are any takers and then releasing next summer. We all want a local lad to do well but there comes a time when we have to cut ties.

 

I agree with you only problem is with Cosgrove he was brought in as a 1st team striker and probably getting paid accordingly.
