I just seen replays have been scrapped

    Dunno.

I used to love the FA Cup but I really can't see much point in it any more, they might as well just toss a coin...

Its changed several times over last couple of seasons due to covid and congestion but starting from this season extra time and pens, no replays bud

I thought they still had replays for first couple of rounds. That’s disappointing.

I’m starting to hate football I’ll be honest.

Wait until Birmingham and Wrexham go up and the EFL allow them to play in America. That’s when football will really go down the shitter. A lot has come out since COVID. The dire straits of football finances, behind closed door friendlies, post season tours, push for European Super League and traditional footballing values ending. Wonder where it’s gonna stop?

It's so we can't play an ineligible player in the replay

It won’t, sadly. The game needs to swallow itself whole so we can start again.

Ive always thought we play far too many games in an Efl season anyway. Its 46 in the League, and 50+ then if there's a cup run and the Play offs.
So scrapping Fa cup replays for me, is a good idea.

Even less chance of smaller clubs Mekkin a Bob or two with no replays and another tv game and its money goes darn the pan each round.

You can't have FA Cup replays anymore.

    Why not?

    Too many games.

We'll stop playing in the Football League Trophy instead.

Nope, you've got to play in that.

    We don't want to.

    You have to.

Against Under 21 Teams from the Premier League?

    Yup.

    In a Group Stage?

    Yup.

    Well said, mate.

Every decision now just benefits the 'big 6' and top 5% of players.

From those comments above Jay, the only one of them I've said, is Too many games.
Although tbh, I do agree with them getting rid of Fa Replays as well.
But I've also been saying it for so long now about scrapping the Trophy, or at least changing its format back to what it was!.

The answer is ET and Pens, Stevenage vs Guiseley finished 1-1 AET and is now in penalties.

Scrap the Papa John's, retain the League Cup but without Premier League sides. Europa Conference League spot for the winner.
