Not heard any news about him for ages. Is he still injured as he never appears on any of the training videos?
Very strange decision to extend his contract. Unless they did it out of pure generosity as a chance for him to gain fitness and find a move I don't understand it.
Clarke said in his press conference today that Matty Wolfe is no longer contracted to the club but he was just coming in and doing some work with the medical rehab team. He said the club were doing right by him but that he was never going to break into Clarke's first team squad with all the midfielders he has at his disposal
That's a real shame, I thought there might have been a player in there but sadly another one ravaged by unlucky injuries.
He's still on the Team tab on the official site, but then again it shows we have two players called Andy Dallas, who are both loaned out to Barrow for the season.
I can’t remember which season it was, we were very poor but he came into the side and was like a shining light. Pretty sure we gave him a contract based on that but he’s never done it since and been incredibly unlucky with injuries. Hopefully he can start to get fit and work his way back to the football league.
Looks like his contract will run down now and he will be free to join another club when healthy. Still doing rehab at Oakwell though Shame about him I thought he looked like a good player a few years ago
Chuffin Barnsley 11 v Barnsley 11 on Oakwell. Opened to spectators. Forget reason why. But that's when he last got injured I believe.
Sad for him. I just hope he can get over his injuries & have a career like Digby has & not have to give up altogether like Noble-Lazarus did.

When was the last time he played in a league or cup game? According to Wiki, he hadn’t played for us for 3 yrs, maybe 4?
