This severed head things a bit bizarre. Guy picked it up in the street thinking it was a Halloween thing before realising it was a real head. A dozen or so forensics at the scene and all pubs in the area cleared. It's then explained as a bus accident, but folk thinking something more sinister.
The modern world I'm afraid most people reach for their phones to get content rather than call for help.
The story appears to be that they didn't think it was real. Given that it was Halloween this week, a bunch of drunken lads thought it was a prop in the dark and only after they'd been too close did they realise the truth...!
100m down the road from the head. Apparently I read yesterday about a train vs person incident at Newark and the head ended up in the station car park... And those who deal with body clean-up after such incidents often wait for the birds to locate any missing body parts. Saves them hours of searching...
