Yes its that time of year again folks' time for the same meme thats been shared by the same loons for the past 15 years' you'd think that after all these years the penny would drop with these idiots and they'd realize that no one has ever banned or even asked to ban poppies' no doubt the " muslims want to ban christmas" memes will be following shortly. The gullibility of these fruit loops is off the scale.

That’s missing ‘when is straight pride’….

I’d hate for the gammons to find out that eight million Muslims fought for the allied forces across the two world wars.

It is estimated 1.5million Muslims died in action in ww2.

Significantly more ‘British’ Indian servicemen (of which a decent percentage were Muslim as at the time this included what is now Pakistan and Bangladesh) died in conflict than British servicemen.

The poppy commemorates them too. Muslim communities know this - there has never been any call to ban the poppy from them.

From certain Irish folk, yeah. Not others though.

Wrexham tickets are changing hands for £500 on the gammon black market, with bidders snapping up the opportunity to be outraged at James McLean if he moves even a micrometer during the minute's silence.

I've not found anything to say they want it banned. But many nationalists refuse to wear it.

I've never heard calls for it to be banned. It's a choice to wear it.

More refuse to wear it and turn their back on it maybe - not ban as such.

Luckily the next generation are being taught more about their important contribution. As to remembrance, it should be up to everyone to decide for themselves whether or not to donate, parade, wear a poppy of whatever colour or not.

I get that mate . choice includes all sections of society. But some may support the cause.

Just pointing out, that they, in the main flatly refuse. For reasons outside of joe publics reasons not to. I think that's what the poster I imagine was leaning towards rather than ban.

I watched a programme this morning (Think it was GMB) Where a teacher mentioned the significance of the poppy and how it was always on the agenda at this time of year to explain to schoolchildren. Saying most of em would know more than their elders.

Yeah maybe he just worded it wrong. I get the reasons some would not wear it I imagine if we had a influx of footballers from the middle east many would decline to opportunity to put one on their shirt. That's fine better to have some principles.

The poppy doesn't just represent ww1 and ww2 anymore they represent all conflicts the army has been involved in. Not saying they would want them banned. Some may choose not to wear them I don't know that's upto them.
