Yes, that's what happened. Marsh fouled a Birmingham player, and got booked. It all kicked off. Nkawali tried to play peacemaker. He was playing well. Barnsley had 3 players go off injured in the first half, one of whom was Barry Cotter. Yimal Yoganathan ended up playing centre half and did well
Let's not get on his back. Young lad, moving countries, likely not signed for huge amounts, got some promise, unlike Oulare he is playing games. Is he really deserving of negative comments?
Hold on a minute.. so a club that's p155ing money down the toilet can't be called out and challenged for what again is looking like another remarkable move in the transfer market..
Nowt against him, hope he turns out good for us, but he's 26. A what age do players stop getting called 'a young lad'?
From what little I've seen.(Against udders) He impressed me. Very good on the ball. But obviously not enough for Clarke who sees him all the time. A run on the bench and a bit of game time wouldn't go amiss. But with so many options in midfield, I'm not expecting him to break through at the mo.
I'm never going to compare the two but when King Ronnie first signed, many said he was cr4p, overweight, not good enough etc... The rest, as they say, is history.
If it's a 3 match ban. What games would he be banned from. Some apply to only the competition the sending off occurred in.?
I also find it interesting that Arsenal never loaned him out to an English club. He only went abroad. Did they think he wasn’t suited to English football? From what I’ve seen he looks good on the ball but doesn’t want to put the work in off the ball. Hopefully that’s just a fitness thing but there’s definitely alarm bells ringing when it’s now November & he’s still not started a league game even when all of Phillips, Craig, Connell, Russell, Yoganathan & Benson have been unavailable at different times
Couldn’t get a visa for him. Interesting article on him https://www.zonalsports.com/analysis/kelechi-nwakali
I asked this previously, but how did he (and MDG) get work permits? Neither were playing in high enough leagues, had sufficient appearances, international appearances or anything else to get them through the process.
Changed rules last year to allow 2 non qualified I’m guessing. https://www.capitallaw.co.uk/news/b...english-football-clubs-to-sign-global-talent/
