Every time I looked at the screen he was passing back instead of taking on a player or getting a cross in. Seriously underwhelming for the Baggies fans. I’m sure.
Can’t see why this got ruled out? Who cares if it’s true we got £600k for him. One of the most overrated players I’ve seen in a Red shirt. One good season….
This point in isolation is a good one but they're certainly slowing down now. Luton draw was okay because they should be better than where they are with that squad and probably Millwall given their recent form being brilliant, but drawing against Cardiff and Oxford isn't great. I still think they'll do well just cos I rate Corberan.
Styles 'left back' again ehh lol, does that mean he was left in the coach or the dressing room ?. And told to sweep up and make the tea/coffee.
I think the interest is justified given his estranged relationship with BFC. Had he played well for us and been sold at the height of his stock, we’d have wished him well. I’m always curious to see if he’s still any good or not. Was for Val, but hasn’t suitably impressed anyone enough for us to profit from ever signing him. If £600k is correct, it’s a fairly tame gamble on West Brom’s part, if they get promoted he’ll probably be on the move again.
They’re as good a side as most in terms of quality on the ball, better than most defensively - but they are gun shy in the final third. Unless they can start scoring they will drop to mid table. But if they can address that, they will do very well.
from what I could gather from the commentators he was at left back-not wing back -due to a lot of injuries in defence. I thought he did ok as its not his natural position
