21/22 when he played for us proper. 16 appearances. He did look a bright spark in a bleak season for a short period, but so did Moon. Based on what? I don't think he'd have a chance. He's a decent player, probably manage to eke out a decent non-league/league 2 career if he stays fit. But he hasn't been fit in 3 years. He's not better than Phillips, Connell, Craig, Russell, Benson, DKD if he plays there & I'd still have Nwakali & Hourihane over him (edit - I'd say Yoganation looks to have much more potential too). He had a good 5 game spell when he first broke through but didn't do much else in the rest of his short playing career with us
I agree - if he was still 18/19 then perhaps I'd understand. He's 24 though and hasn't been fit in 93 million years.
Well it's a shame that the lad who started at Oakwell when he was only 10 has seen out his contract in such an unfortunate way. I hope he does make a full recovery and get back into league football in the not too distant future
