Whilst there's alot of things right in what he's saying, I suspect him being an Arsenal fan, I think if they were 10pts clear at the top he'd think differently. The irony of him having Cruyff's autobiography on the back of the sofa, who took the total football philosophy to Barcelona and implemented it as Manager to which Pep learnt his trade and probably Pep's biggest influence, then complaining about Man City's style of play is laughable.
TBF, I started this thread after watching about 10mins of his comments, he's given his Arsenal season tickets away & now goes to watch Dagenham so fair play to that bit.
It's not just the fact Man City play that way, teams at every level think they can play the same way.
Lost me a little bit when he admitted he was too dim to understand XG It is a good statistic, it does make sense and it can tell you the projection of a team being in false positions matches ahead of time. Been following it since the Stendel season and it’s correct a lot of the time.
