Worth sending him back to Chelsea in that case.

    That old chestnut?

I think we are fine with kilip tbh. Would also like to see smith given a go too, but that would be harsh on kilip as well

I hope we send him back & use the wages to recruit a back up left wing back. We can’t run the risk of having an unbalanced side again if anything happens to Gent

You can't deny he made some crucial saves, Killip hasn't been tested in the same way yet.

He was also at fault for several goals conceded. So far kilip hasn't been.

Kilip also seems to understand when to stay on his line and let the defenders deal with high balls into the box instead of doing what Slonina does and go through bodies just to flap which there is no need to do when we've got the height of Roberts etc in there.

Slonina probably gets criticised most for not coming for balls (other than his big errors) so I'm not sure this is correct mate. Or maybe it is and the other opinion isn't correct.

I like Slonina personally. Id have rather Jackson be our number 1, young and our actual player but I think Gaga has a bright future. He's made a couple of high profile errors but he's also made a number of fantastic saves. He won us 3 points against Blackpool for starters, 2 great saves against Rhodes. Either way, Kilip has done everything he needed to do and should keep his place for now. Long may it continue!

To be fair killip made a crucial save at 1 nil last night goals change games that goes in could have been a different result (not that Rotherham deserved anything)
Solina cost us points with needless errors.

I've never understood the anti-Killip comments on here. As far as I can remember he's never made any major howlers.
Dont think we needed Slonina given that we have Jackson in the group also.

Kilip got loads of nasty dogs abuse for absolutely no reason other than where he came from, mate. Was always intended to be second choice but not good enough for our fans.

Because Killip commands his area much better, so it cuts back on his own need to make crucial saves.

He cost us 2 points at Lincoln last season. Dropped a dolly in injury time from a corner and their player poked it in. I seem to remember one or two others where I thought he could have done better.

BUT….. he’s been almost faultless since he got another chance, and the shirts his for now as far as I’m concerned. Good luck to him.

Agree re. Slonina. Get him back to Chelsea January 1st.

This. He had a decent run in the side around October / November last season when Roberts was injured & I can remember him being pretty decent. I can’t ever remember watching a game thinking ‘Killip cost us there’ like I have a couple of times with Slonina.
