My cousin has messaged me about parking near Bramall Lane as she's going to a Lionesses game there (I think in December).

When I lived outside Sheffield, I'd always get the train in, and now I live in Sheffield, I'd get the tram, so I'm not familiar with the parking situation around there.

So does anyone have any recommendations for parking around Bramall Lane on a match day.

    TIA.

It’s not great for parking. Ive found easiest thing if going in the car is park at Meadowhall and get the train in from there.

Edit - Also worth having a look on the parking apps. I use them a lot for away games.

There’s street parking around East Bank Road. However, it’s a bit rough around there.

I always park near to Decathlon..plenty of street parking ( parking meters) and several car parks.
The roads around Bramall Lane, including the big roundabout will obviously be closed so it's a very easy walk back after the match

In the good old days (1980's), you could park at the back of the Matilda.

There are carparks in Sheffield? I thought the closest that city had to carparks were troughs for horses.

Plenty of NCP carparks around the Moor that open until Midnight. With the app, its ~£1.50 per hour and a 10-15 minute walk to Bramhall Lane. We usually park in the one behind Debenhams, but try to avoid Bramhall Lane if at all possible.

I go to quite a few gigs in sheffield, given up trying to drive in, worse then Leeds these days, this is the best option, park at Meadowhall and get the tram, much less stressful.

Why not park on the sea front at Brighton? That's near enough to Bumhole Lane for me.
