    Nobody's really impartial - what matters is that the decisions are.

    Apart from anything else, referees are inevitably going to be football fans, with everything that entails - would you stop a ref from Barnsley officiating an Arsenal game because we've got a very reasonable historical grudge against them for cheating us out of a place in the top flight? Or a Swansea game the season after MLH left? We might have to stop refs from Peterborough or Wigan ever taking charge of one of our games again, just in case. Throw in not liking officials personally and nobody would be able to ref anything ever.

    There can't be a referee out there who doesn't have a list as long as their arm of players and members of staff they can't stand. Getting over that during the 90 minutes is part of the job.

    It's been pretty funny watching Liverpool fans melt down over decisions that have gone against them. Doubt any of them have ever heard of Gary ******* Willard.

    Klopp is a bully. We've seen that with the press and with referees before. Coot will probably lose his job, but I can't help but feel the same way about Liverpool and klopp.

    I'm sure 100% he as been as impartial as any ref could be when he as been an official.
    It's being an absolute Rsoul when he is not being an official.
    What an absolute to#s pot for saying that on a video.
    No sympathy for him .

    I meant in regards of attitude. Berating refs, controlling the media etc, etc.

    Video allegedly filmed in the middle of EURO 2024 too.

    I think the lesson we can all learn from this is that if you're in any way famous don't put everything on video and then fall out with one of your mates!

    Wonder who’s done what for him to get so vindictive or if they have just seen the pound signs and decided to cash in. Coote comes out of this badly but his “so called mate even more so in my eyes”
