It reminded me of the scrotes in Wakey bus station who used to pick on Paul Sykes when he was and old alcoholic tramp
What an absolute load of tosh, I can't even begin to give stuff like this the time of day. Christmas pantomime stuff
I think I'd be a little embarrassed if I was Paul. I get being safe but he's fighting a near 60 year old statue with injury problems. If he's serious about boxing he needs to perform much better.
I'm sure he's not the least bit embarrassed. His goal is to make money through increasing his fame. Mission accomplished.
Me, son in law an grandson watched it and were all disappointed by the lack of activity, but it was always gunner be an exhibition bout rather than a battleground. It is what it was an two contenders will be a lot richer for their efforts.
Katie Taylor somehow got a very wide decision despite her usual headbutt tactic. She's so overated and loves a points decision. Serrano landed more punches, threw more punches, and had a better landed percentage. Yet even though her opponent had a point taken off she loses by 4-5 points on every card? Crazy!!! Jake Paul did enough to win without hurting Tyson and could in theory have a rematch due to no KO and have them both earn tens of millions again each. Tyson landed 18 punches in 16 minutes. Really poor as expected.
She didn’t. She edged it 95-94 on all three cards. There was nothing in it. I spent most of the fight getting angry at the commentators who all wanted the home fighter to win. I was relieved to go on twitter & see that many boxers had Taylor winning & I wasn’t losing the plot. I don’t know how you can say she’s over rated. She’s 38 & years past her best but still having really close fights with the very best in the sport. She’s incredible. Most fighters are done by their mid-30’s. To put it into some perspective she was world amateur champion in 2006 & Olympic champion in 2012. To be at the top of the sport for 18 years is amazing.
When in the last few seconds Paul bowed at Tyson, Tyson should have taken the chance to spark Paul out. It would have been shown for decades to come and been very funny at the complacency.
Anyone putting eyes on that nonsense deserves all they get. The proper stuff is next month, when Usyk and Fury rematch. Or, right now, on Sky, Billam-Smith taking on Ramirez. Big credit to Chris taking this. Chance to unify against a bloke with 40 odd fights, only lost to Bivol.
And CBS was given a right pasting. Tough to watch, very one sided. But look… Nobody on here talking about it, other than me. A British fighter trying to win another world title. Yet you’ve three pages of chatter about 58 year old Tyson against a kid who was beaten by Tommy Fury. I’m not a fighter. I don’t like the idea of hurting anyone. But I’d fancy my chances of beating up anyone 30 years older than me. Sad state of affairs.
