Flat or folded? I'm more a flat pizza or a kebab man myself. Getting hungry now :D.

It all depends on the filling for a calzone, you have to get that right. We never buy any pizzas in the UK when we come back, they are far too expensive and absolutely nothing like how they should be.

Once saw someone with one of those folded Calzone Donner ones. Thought it was a giant Devon pasty.

Our last night in Bologna, we found a class Pizza restaurant. Tom ordered a calzone, I looked on the menu and saw what looked identical ingredients, but a different name.
Turns out it was a deep fried calzone.
Enjoyed it but next day was a bit of a eye-of-a-needle experience.
