    And the kit looked very good in those days, just absolute basic red n white, no pointless 3rd choice kits then, and absolutely no pink at all.

    Mick Butler was one of the very best finishers I’ve ever seen in a Reds shirt. Unfortunate in many ways to play when he did - kicked up and down every week, leading to two broken legs.

    I remember a Sunday newspaper article about Mick, it was a full page picture with descriptions of all the injuries scattered round it and arrows pointing to them. To say he was kicked to bits would be a massive understatement.
