Dishonest people everywhere mate, but a self employed person contributes much more to the system than a benefits cheat , even if they do cook the books.

 

December 3rd sentencing I heard

 

Sunak made many millions by shorting the pound during the financial crash of 2008. We've all been paying for it ever since. Ok, she's a cheat and has been rightly prosecuted and punished. Sunak still has his seat in the Commons and his mansion in Richmond. I know who I despise the most.

The anger I hear from people aimed at those on benefits. Even ones who are not cheating the system is shocking. It really is the rich turning the poor onto each other

 

Depends how much they are cooking the books by and doesn’t necessarily correlate to them being more benefit to society tbh.

Good luck paying all that back... probably get away with paying £10/week max back out of new benefits, if indeed they let her claim, which I suspect she will. Universal credit when she gets out with a 40 year payment plan or whatever.

 

Maybe so but being a lesser financial gain doesn't make it acceptable or defendable.

 

Rather random reply. Why does everything have to be yeah but what about the Tories? Exactly the same language folk in here had when people brought Labour into a discussion and got jumped all over with whataboutery claims

Surely we should just condemn her actions rather than almost trying to justify it because someone else might have done worse.

She should be rightly made to pay back every penny with interest.

I do get you said she had been rightly punished, just don't get the need for crime comparison.
