Being an FA qualified, full time professional football coach and spending 3 months watching Mael perform 4 or 5 blatant foul throws every game and not thinking to make an intervention to sort it out.

Clarke made some poor decisions today like not starting our MOTM from our last game. We should never have MDGV, Pines and Roberts all in the same team. Changing four players at the same time will have given a huge boost because it shows the opposition just what you think.

I thought we looked loads better after the changes. My criticism would have been they didn't happen sooner. No issue whatsoever with changing that many when it clearing isnt working, we pegged them in after those changes and just couldn't capitalise of it. We do miss loads of big chances and that needs rectifying, especially DKD.

Nwakali and a striker needed to happen at half time, but instead all the subs were playing keepy up in the rain on their own while their subs did some proper stretches under supervision.

    Amateur hour.

The best about it was he threw it back towards his own half with the ball skidding off the surface towards Roberts. Just basics not to do something so stupid

I must be honest I know DKD scores a few goals but he hasn't really impressed me much at all. And can anyone tell me how Humphrys got man of match, I generally like him, but he dis absolutely nothing against his old club, to me the award should have gone to Roberts

I noticed this too and it’s not the first time. The Wigan subs were doing a rondo, passing and moving to a different disc within a square under the supervision of a coach, whilst only four of our five outfield subs were out. 2 were tapping a ball to each other five yards apart whilst stationary and the other two didn’t even bother with a ball.

It’s Sunday morning pub league stuff.

The same Roberts who was closest to the man scored from a free header? I'd have given it to the fans who turned up to watch that *****.

My main gripe was players getting in each others way when we had Wigan hemmed in. The number of times Earl and Pines were getting in the way at the end congesting things and being positioned wrong. Back to goal, losing momentum really pissed me off. Also Nwakali played too deep. No way he should have been sweeping up for Roberts, Pines and Earl.

Maybe that's the refs job. How many did he get pulled up for. ? Most if not all players take the piss imo. stealing yards or not behind the line etc.
I think I've seen one or two this season given but none I can recollect against Mael.

Refs are getting soft. Over players going down for example. If it isn't a compound fracture. Tongue stuck in throat or obviously unconscious. Play the fekk on. It was so blatantly used by wigan today with not so much as even cramp. At least 3 occasions to break Barnsley's rhythm.

Goals earn you the right to set the tempo and 5h it house the referee. They didn't do owt we wouldn't have done.

I get that. But I'm not excusing anyone Stephen, even our own players. Same rules apply. I hate faking injury with a passion. I think Andy Mac might testify to that lol.:)

I agree. We can moan on about the tactics but we had opportunities to score and didn't take them. They only really had one and did, if course they were happy to time waste away from home . Ref was poor though in not getting a grip on the game and the linos weren't much better!

Weather ruined my weekend too. Don't feel like you've had a break when you're forced to stay in on free weekend.

Probably be even quieter tomorrow with only 7k or so in the ground. Be the usual number staying at home cos it’s a Tuesday night game on Sky.

Not seen every game, but for me he doesn't get involved enough. Not sure we can have him and Phillips both playing and not getting very involved. He's taken a few chances nicely but also missed a few and can't head for toffee, which isn't ideal for a forward player.

    I constantly don't get the head coach playing 2 number 10s .
His team selection baffles me at times.
How O Keefe stayed on for so long was unbelievable, but he wasn't the only poor player.
Robbo will dread watching the replay for their goal.
Man o the match I struggle to name one, Jalo looked lively when he came on.
